My name is Venice Louis.
I am the founder and creator of the SoundMind Blog. I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, Youth Leader, and Journalist (not professional tho, lol). I enjoy writing out my feelings, struggles, conversations with God and anything to everything in between. So, here we are - SoundMind Blog.
All About Me
Surprisingly, I enjoy talking more than writing but at the same time I enjoy both. My love for writing was birthed at the end of 2018 when I had just broken up with my ex-boyfriend and fell into depression (a lot more was happening spiritually). My best friend suggested that I journal down all my feelings. At the time, I had no other options so I said, "why not" and began writing my life away.
Every journal I've written tells the story of how I went from depression, isolation from God, and uncertainty about life; now I am redeemed, growing in my relationship with God and still taking each step by faith (Jeremiah 29:11).

As I was writing, I thought about sharing the life lessons that I learned with anyone who was in the same position I was a few years ago. I want to share tips, encouragement and support by inviting you into my online space. This blog has a youthful sense to it, so, if you see gifs, videos, and twitter text along the way, don't be alarmed.
