"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." - James 1:17
The word of God makes it clear that every good thing in our life comes from our Father. Yes, God the Father of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac. God does not withhold from his children. In Matthew 7:11, God stated that since evil people are capable of giving good gifts to their children, what would prevent God from doing the same for his children. It is for his children to believe and hold on by faith that God does not change in his feelings towards us. What do I mean by that? In my life, I used to think that God would no longer bless me if I did anything wrong or I wasn't living up to some imaginary standard. Because of that mindset, I did not fully believe in the word of God that he gives good gifts to his children and that nothing can separate me from his love. Whatever you're seeking the Father about today and this year, believe and know that he withholds no good thing from you, his child.
