God, gave me a pointer today...
I’m currently seeking God concerning the posture of my heart and my relationship with Him. Transparency moment, I know that I was putting more attention on relationship with guys than on God. God does declare in his word that, “You shall have no other God before me [Isaiah 45:5].” I was making men my god. People can become our god. You meditate, care for, and pay more attention to them than you would God. This is the quickest way to put them in the place that only belongs to God. Today, God encouraged me to even change what I watch on social media. To replace what I would watch with his word and that is what I will do.
“I am the Lord, and there is no other;
Besides Me there is no God.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me;”
Isaiah 45:5
